Hello, my name is Vardeep

I’m passionate about coaching health-care and public/voluntary sector professionals with career and professional development goals.
Having worked in health-care since 2000, I am naturally drawn to working with people and organisations where compassion is core to everyday work.
I work part-time in health-care and part-time as a self-employed coach/facilitator at the Coaching Corner.
In 2022 I completed an Executive Coaching qualification and Post graduate Certificate (PgC) in Coaching for Behavioural Change at Henley Business school. Coaching is fundamental to all my work and I now an Associate Credited Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) 2023.

My coaching approach at the Coaching Corner is based upon three elements. Firstly a compassionate focus, whereby I weave in compassion focused interventions when supporting clients. This can be especially helpful when anxiety, low self confidence and self-criticism get in the way of achieving goals.
Secondly, when useful I work with clients in a dynamic way, including using Chair Work and visuals using a specialist technique known as the Collage Coaching Technique. A dynamic approach taps into experiential and multi-sensorial ways of working, offering clients a fresh perspective and renewed energy with challenges they have often been facing for a while.
Lastly, enabling all of this requires creating a psychological safe space to work. I do this by working respectfully with clients, where privacy, trust and confidentiality is at the forefront. When there is no judgment, no expectation and no hidden agenda clients are able to be open and honest, opening the door to new possibility.
